MY STORY.
I have been passionate about equitable + inclusive spaces since I was a kid.
My passion for equity started in second grade, when I wrote President Clinton a letter stating it was BULLSHIT there were no women presidents. (He never wrote me back).
For years I fought hard for equity. THEN I WOKE UP to the ways I, myself, perpetuated the very systems I fought so hard to dismantle.
I WASTED ALL MY ENERGY BEING ANGRY AT + TRIGGERED BY THE CURRENT SYSTEM, I DIDN'T HAVE ENERGY TO INVENT A NEW ONE
I wanted to F#CK THE PATRIARCHY
Yet I saw femininity as inferior and thought equality could only be achieved by doing what 'men' could do. I masculinized all my habits- including hating + stifling my cycle. I taught practices that neglected the infradian hormonal cycle. People pleasing, perfectionism, self-hate and internalized patriarchy kept me broke, miserable + playing small.
I wanted to DESTROY HOMOPHOBIA
Yet I minimized the validity of my own bisexuality and genderqueer identities. I labeled 'men' as predators - not realizing that by doing so, I was perpetuating the gender binary myth.
I judged 'those RACIST PEOPLE'
Yet I had unchecked internalized racism, white fragility, white saviorism and lived a lie thinking I was a 'good ally' while further perpetuating white supremacist systems.
I wanted to CHALLENGE ABLEISM
Yet I was ableist against myself. I shamed myself for not being 'normal' - remaining in denial of my own autism + adhd for years. I constantly broke down + burned out, robbing the world of my true gifts and talents due to internalized ableism.
I had to stop fighting the system OUT THERE - and start DISMANTLING the system IN MYSELF.
SO I began working with different mentors and coaches. And it helped ALOT to invest in myself.
The only problem was that even the BEST coaches, healers and mentors I could find were teaching from a cis, straight, white, masculine, neurotypical, able-bodied method- even if they themselves did not identify this way.
Through endless, obsessive hours of research, Cycle Awareness trainings, books, mindset work, trial and error - I created a self-inventory to counter all the ways I perpetuated harmful internalized + externalized systems and LEARNED HOW TO TEACH THAT TO MY CLIENTS.
I now help healers and leaders like you every day to gain confidence in their inclusive leadership style - to be raw, courageous + intersectionally aware.
